Plan A Spa Visit

Spa Services

From Anitra Brown, your Guide to Spas
The Crossings in Austin was an idealist venture -- a lavish facility with low prices so people could further their personal development. That era has ended, but I think The Crossings will still be a good deal, and new management promises better food. Plus, The Lodge at Woodloch is devoting a weekend to your dreams, and The Spa at Montage introduces USDA-certified organic spa treatments.

Big Changes At The Crossings In Austin
When I went to The Crossings in Austin a few years ago I was blown away by the location, the fabulous therapists, and the prices. New owners are bringing big changes -- including higher prices and better food and service.

A Dream Weekend at The Lodge At Woodloch
Wonder what your dreams mean? Or why you can't remember them? The Lodge at Woodloch, in Hawley, Pennsylvania is having its first "Dream as Oracle" workshop Nov. 12-14, 2010.

Organic Spa Treatments at Spa Montage
The move towards organic spa treatments gets a boost from Spa Montage, in Laguna Beach, Ca., which has introduced a new body treatment using USDA certified organic products.

About Today: 7 Steps to Get out of Debt

If you can't see this email, click here

About.com

From Jen Hubley, your About Today Editor
Every year at about this time, when the back to school sales have subsided and before the holiday shopping starts up in earnest, I like to look at my debt situation. And then I like to scream theatrically and tear at my hair.

7 Steps to Get out of Debt
It's easy to get into debt, and not so easy to get out. For one thing, getting out requires effort and planning, while getting in is a natural talent for most of us.

How to Make a Plan to Get out of Debt
You need to make a plan. Step one of my plan was to take up with a guy who thinks credit cards have germs and will give you a horrible disease if you use them. Something boogery that shows on your face.

5 Ways to Reduce Your Debt Payments
Step two was less fun, and that was actually paying down my debt. There's always a catch.

How to Create a Frugal Budget
And, of course, the last step is to figure out a way to never have to pay off debt again. At least until next year. (Ahem.)
